Fashion Pre-Fall/Winter 2012 Collection
Doo.Ri displays a collection of fashion pre-autumn-winter 2012, the collection is about the influence of modern graphic prints and bold silhouettes. I like the appeal of the design collections of sculpture, like a trench coat, looks gorgeous.
Recent collections have referenced the works of Aubrey Beardsley (Spring) and Sonia Delaunay (Resort), and now is the turn of contemporary collagist Cecil Touchon for pre-fall. The effect was evident in the graphic Touchon laser-cut geometric stab in the neck and hemline of a simple black shift, and the blown-up and micro “confetti” print is used throughout the lineup. For the most part, Chung play it safe, sticking with a strong suit (draping, jersey, and that the best-selling jacket), although he tweaked him a little template, cut a few pieces of a stronger, bound jersey sculpture added charm. Experimenting with the unexpected volume and shape works well here to Chung: Display prominent peak with an emerald wool cocoon silhouette-ish and needle punching down, which came mixed sequin dress.
